Responsibilities:
Manage Renovation, Refurbishment & Restoration Projects
- Plan, coordinate, supervise, and monitor renovation, refurbishment, fit-out, restoration, and reinstatement projects for HQ offices, branches, and mall outlets, ensuring timely completion, quality workmanship, and compliance with company standards.
Oversee Facilities Maintenance & Preventive Services
- Manage maintenance, repairs, replacements, and preventive servicing of facilities and equipment, including electrical, plumbing, air conditioning, roller shutters, fire extinguishers, fingerprint access systems, safes, and other building facilities.
Lead Project & Maintenance Operations
- Supervise and provide technical guidance to the Project and Maintenance team, monitor daily operations, resolve maintenance issues, and ensure service requests are completed efficiently.
Manage Contractors, Vendors & Procurement
- Manage branch signage, branding, billboards, fit-out requirements, authority approvals, standby generators, and other infrastructure-related projects.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, landlords, and internal departments, obtain quotations, manage procurement-related activities, maintain vendor records, and ensure quality service delivery.
Monitor Project Progress, Budget & Reporting
- Prepare and monitor project cost estimates, quotations, budgets, maintenance reports, project updates, and verify invoices before submission for payment.
Ensure Safety & Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, BOMBA, Bank Negara, and other regulatory requirements, including fire safety, preventive maintenance schedules, and workplace safety initiatives.
Manage Security & Surveillance Systems
- Oversee the maintenance, troubleshooting, monitoring, and vendor management of CCTV, alarm systems, access control, and related security infrastructure, ensuring compliance with company security standards and regulatory requirements.
Communicate with Stakeholders
- Liaise with internal stakeholders, branches, landlords, consultants, and vendors to provide timely updates and ensure smooth execution of projects and maintenance activities.
Perform Administrative & Other Assigned Duties
- Prepare reports and documentation, maintain maintenance records, support departmental administrative functions, and carry out any additional duties assigned by the Head of Department.
Qualifications
- Minimum Certificate, Diploma, or an equivalent professional qualification in Engineering, Facilities Management, Building Management, Construction Management, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or a related field;
- Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in facilities management, building maintenance, renovation, or project management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role;
- Strong knowledge of building maintenance, M&E systems, CCTV and alarm systems, OSHA, BOMBA requirements, and contractor/vendor management;
- Willing to travel to all branches and project sites nationwide and be on standby after office hours to attend to urgent maintenance issues when required.
- Excellent project management, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, budgets, and stakeholders simultaneously.
