Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to facilitate Agile delivery for software, IT, engineering, and digital transformation projects within the semiconductor/manufacturing environment. The Scrum Master will work closely with cross-functional teams to remove delivery impediments, facilitate Scrum ceremonies, improve team performance, and ensure projects are delivered according to agreed timelines and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams supporting semiconductor-related IT, software, engineering, or manufacturing projects.
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including:
• Sprint Planning
• Daily Scrum
• Sprint Review / Demo
• Sprint Retrospective
• Backlog Refinement
• Coach and mentor team members on Scrum principles, Agile practices and continuous improvement.
• Work closely with Product Owners to ensure the Product Backlog is properly prioritised, refined and ready for development.
• Track sprint progress, velocity, burndown/burnup charts and other Agile metrics.
• Identify, track and remove blockers, impediments, dependencies and delivery risks.
• Coordinate with Engineering, IT, Software Development, QA, Infrastructure, Manufacturing and Business teams.
• Facilitate collaboration between software/IT teams and semiconductor engineering or manufacturing stakeholders.
• Ensure effective communication between technical teams, Product Owners, Project Managers and senior stakeholders.
• Monitor sprint and release commitments and proactively highlight potential delays or risks.
• Support release planning, roadmap planning and cross-team dependency management.
• Identify opportunities to improve team productivity, delivery processes and Agile maturity.
• Facilitate conflict resolution and help the team become increasingly self-organising and cross-functional.
• Maintain Agile project documentation, dashboards and reports using tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Work with management to provide visibility of project status, risks, dependencies and delivery progress.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across the organisation.
• Ensure Agile practices are aligned with the organisation's quality, security, compliance and manufacturing processes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Software Engineering or a related discipline.
• 3–7+ years of IT/software/project delivery experience, with relevant Scrum Master experience.
• Experience in the semiconductor, electronics, manufacturing or engineering industry is highly preferred.
• Scrum certification such as CSM, PSM I/II, SAFe Scrum Master or equivalent is an advantage.
• PMP, PMI-ACP or other Agile/project management certifications are advantageous.
• Experience working with software development, IT applications, manufacturing systems or engineering teams is preferred.
