Job Summary

As a Retail Sales Consultant, you will engage clients in a dynamic, design-focused showroom, promote luxury furniture brands, achieve sales targets, and build lasting relationships with high-profile clients and industry professionals.

Responsibilities

• Engage clients proactively to initiate conversations and understand their design and furniture needs
• Manage retail operations including showroom housekeeping to maintain a premium environment
• Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets through effective client engagement and product knowledge
• Respond promptly and accurately to client briefs, enquiries, and quotation requests
• Monitor and report on customer preferences and competitor products to inform sales strategies
• Support and assist in hosting showroom events to enhance client experience and brand presence
• Collaborate with the design community to promote brands and foster long-term client relationships

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma or equivalent qualification
• Proficiency in MS Office applications

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in retail sales, preferably in design or luxury furniture
• Strong interest and knowledge in design principles and trends
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Demonstrated customer service skills with a solutions-oriented, hands-on approach
