Product Manager / Assistant Product Manager (Intermediate) – Private Banking
Contract Role | Banking & Financial Services

Location: Singapore
Contract Duration: 12 Months (Renewable/Convertible, subject to performance/headcount)
Salary Range: $4,000 - $7,000
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, standard office hours

About the Role

Our client, a leading bank in Singapore, has two openings within its Private Banking division for intermediate-level Product Managers / Assistant Product Managers. Both roles support product and client solution delivery for private banking clients, working closely with internal stakeholders, external partners and professional advisors.

Role 1: Assistant Product Manager – Wealth Planning Solutions

Key Responsibilities

1. Support the development, implementation and maintenance of the team's resource management databases, legal templates and standard documents.
2. Assist in developing pitchbooks, factsheets, product guides, frameworks and flowcharts, and identify areas for improvement to legal precedents.
3. Support the assessment and onboarding of complex structures and transactions, including for new jurisdictions, across wealth planning solutions such as trusts, family offices, insurance policies, philanthropic vehicles and variable capital companies.
4. Liaise with bank stakeholders and external legal and tax advisors.
5. Coordinate internal and external training for Relationship Managers, Wealth Planners and Trust Managers.
6. Support the review of legal and tax opinions.
7. Monitor new laws, regulations and developments relevant to the business, and draft updates on the evolving regulatory and taxation environment.

Requirements

• Experience in the private wealth space and familiarity with wealth planning solutions.
• Tax, legal or accountancy background is preferred but not mandatory.
• Comfortable leveraging GenAI and Agentic AI tools.
• Adept at maintaining resource databases.
• Self-motivated individual who takes initiative.
• Strong drafting, analytical and communication skills.
• Solution-oriented with an eye for accuracy.

Role 2: Product Manager – Private Assets Product Management

Key Responsibilities

1. Support end-to-end functions for the private assets platform, including product onboarding and system operations.
2. Oversee ongoing product performance monitoring and NAV reporting.
3. Maintain the BAU repository platform and support systems upkeep.
4. Assist in system enhancements, implementation and the rollout of new products or platforms.
5. Support sales management and after-sales support for private assets referrals.
6. Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate completion of monthly and quarterly reporting.
7. Support regional product initiatives and ad-hoc projects.
8. Manage relationships with product partners and payment processing.
9. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal business units and external asset managers.
10. Support the Front Office on private assets enquiries.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics or a related discipline.
• Self-starter, highly motivated and results-oriented.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in product management, ideally within Alternatives or Private Assets.
• Team player, able to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Good understanding of banking operations.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is required.
