Job Summary
We are looking for a Production Manager / Section Manager to lead a team of Manufacturing Engineers, Cell Leaders, and Operators in a semiconductor manufacturing environment. The role will be responsible for driving daily production performance, continuous improvement, and operational excellence while ensuring high standards of quality, productivity, and cleanroom discipline.
Mandatory Skill-set
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related discipline;
- Must have at least 5 years of production / manufacturing management experience;
- Hands-on experience in people management and team leadership;
- Strong understanding of production KPIs including output, quality, cost, cycle time, and productivity;
- Good communication and interpersonal skills;
- Strong problem-solving and continuous improvement capabilities.
Desired Skill-set
- Experience in semiconductor manufacturing or a high-technology manufacturing environment;
- Experience working in a cleanroom environment;
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and workplace discipline;
- Experience driving process improvement and operational excellence initiatives;
- Experience developing and implementing training programmes for production teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of Manufacturing Engineers, Cell Leaders, and Operators to achieve production KPIs and business objectives;
- Monitor and drive daily performance across key areas including output, quality, cost, cycle time, and productivity;
- Identify process gaps and implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve operational efficiency;
- Develop and execute action plans to address production issues and achieve performance targets;
- Implement training programmes to strengthen the technical skills and capabilities of the production team;
- Ensure proper cleanroom cleanliness, housekeeping, and operator discipline are maintained;
- Collaborate with relevant teams to support production performance and achieve operational excellence.
