Role Description This is a part-time remote role for a Licensed Insurance Agent at Aia Public Takaful. The Licensed Insurance Agent will connect with prospective and existing clients to understand their financial protection needs and recommend suitable Takaful and insurance solutions. Day-to-day tasks include conducting virtual consultations, explaining product features and benefits, preparing quotations, and assisting clients with applications and policy servicing. The role also involves maintaining accurate records, following regulatory and compliance requirements, and collaborating with internal teams to resolve client issues. The agent is expected to manage a client pipeline, achieve sales and service targets, and provide ongoing support to ensure a positive client experience.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess skills in Insurance Sales and Insurance to effectively recommend suitable protection solutions and close policies.
  • Candidates should possess skills in Insurance Brokerage and Finance to support clients with product comparisons and basic financial planning discussions.
  • Candidates should possess strong Customer Service skills to handle inquiries, build trust, and provide timely support before and after policy issuance.
  • Valid insurance license (or eligibility to obtain one) as required by local regulations.
  • Comfort working remotely with reliable internet access and proficiency in digital communication tools.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in clear, accessible language.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail for managing client information, documentation, and follow-ups.
  • Prior experience in Takaful, insurance, or financial services is beneficial but not mandatory.
