Regulatory Compliance - Financial Services/Insurance

My client is a leading Financial Services firm. We are recruiting for a Compliance mandate to be based in the Singapore office. You will be given the opportunity to support the business on all compliance related matters in the region, and we are looking for candidates who are looking to scale their career in a leading name in the industry.

Responsibilities for this Regulatory Compliance - Financial Services/Insurance role

• Act as the primary liaison with MAS, LIA, GIA and other regulators, coordinating inspections, information requests and regulatory queries.
• Provide regulatory compliance advisory and support business initiatives and projects.
• Oversee compliance matters across Group entities, including policy localisation and implementation of Group standards.
• Manage compliance incidents, reporting obligations and remediation tracking.
• Coordinate compliance reporting, management meetings and related governance matters.

Requirements for this Regulatory Compliance - Financial Services/Insurance role -

• At least 6 years of regulatory compliance experience within the insurance industry/financial services industry.
• Strong understanding of the Insurance Act, Financial Advisers Act, and LIA/GIA guidelines and industry best practices is preferred
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across internal and external parties.
