About the role

Fabricate, assemble, and install piping systems, steel structures, and mechanical components according to engineering drawings and specifications. Perform welding using GTAW (TIG) and SMAW processes, including cutting, grinding, and fitting work. Read and interpret technical drawings to ensure work is completed accurately and within project timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Fabricate, assemble, and install piping systems, steel structures, and mechanical components according to engineering drawings and specifications

• Perform welding using GTAW (TIG) and SMAW processes, including cutting, grinding, and fitting work

• Read and interpret technical drawings to ensure work is completed accurately and within project timelines

• Maintain welding tools and equipment in good working condition and report defects when required

• Follow all site safety requirements, including proper PPE use and safe working practices

About you

• SPM, Certificate or a Diploma in Welding Engineering, Metal Fabrication, or a related field

• Minimum 5 years of experience in welding, piping, fitting, or mechanical fabrication

• Hands-on skill in GTAW (TIG) and SMAW welding, with knowledge of oxy cutting and grinding

• Ability to read engineering drawings and follow technical specifications accurately

• Ability to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia and English

• Experience in piping works on construction or industrial sites

• Own transport and a valid driving licence
