Role Description The Assistant Restaurant Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in WP Kuala Lumpur. This role supports the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations, including supervising service teams, ensuring high standards of food and beverage quality, and monitoring guest satisfaction. Responsibilities include coordinating staff schedules, assisting with hiring and training, and maintaining compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations. The Assistant Restaurant Manager will handle customer feedback, resolve service issues, and help implement promotions and service initiatives to improve overall restaurant performance. The role also involves close collaboration with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth, efficient, and consistent service delivery.

Qualifications

  • Strong customer-oriented skills, including Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service competencies.
  • Experience with Food & Beverage operations, including menu knowledge and basic understanding of restaurant workflows.
  • People management capabilities, including Hiring, training support, and team supervision.
  • Effective Communication skills for interacting with guests, team members, and management.
  • Previous experience in restaurant or hospitality management is preferred.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
  • Basic proficiency in POS systems and restaurant management software is an advantage.
