Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and hands-on Site Technician to support the implementation of system and engineering projects at project sites.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising subcontractor works, supporting system installation, cable works and termination, site testing, troubleshooting and ensuring works are completed according to project requirements and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Supervise and monitor subcontractor activities at project sites.

2. Ensure installation works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications and project requirements.

3. Carry out and/or supervise cable laying, cable dressing, labelling and termination works.

4. Perform basic termination of power, control, communication and signal cables where required.

5. Assist in installation of system equipment, panels, field devices and related project components.

6. Support testing, troubleshooting, testing & commissioning and system verification activities.

7. Conduct site inspections and verify completed works before submission for inspection or acceptance.

8. Coordinate daily site activities with subcontractors, suppliers and the project team.

9. Maintain site records, including work progress, photos, test results and completed work documentation.

10. Follow site safety requirements and ensure subcontractors comply with relevant safety procedures.

11. Attend site meetings and provide work progress updates when required.

Requirements

1. Minimum Diploma in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic, Engineering or related technical field.

2. Preferably 2–3 years of site experience in system, electrical, ELV, ICT, automation, railway, highway, building or infrastructure projects.

3. Hands-on knowledge and experience in cable installation and cable termination.

4. Able to work independently at site with minimum supervision.

5. Willing to travel and work at different project sites, including outstation locations when required.

6. Responsible, disciplined, safety-conscious and able to work as part of a project team.

7. Possess a valid driving license.

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
