Responsibilities
Role Overview
- Act as an independent operational executor and business process improver for solar system performance.
- Summary: The O&M Engineer Executive is a specialized individual contributor responsible for monitoring plant performance, conducting preventive maintenance, and supervising on-site cleaning crews at Verdant Solar. They execute daily tasks independently with high accuracy, actively improve field processes, and support engineers and clients through practical help.
- System Performance & Troubleshooting: Monitor daily alarms, analyze software trends for Low Peak Performance (LPP), and perform basic inverter troubleshooting.
- Maintenance Execution: Supervise the panel cleaning team on-site, conduct preventive inspections, and identify or repair minor electrical faults (e.g., fuses).
- Reporting & Coordination: Generate post-service O&M reports, assist engineers during complex repairs, and coordinate with Supply Chain for parts.
- Safety & Client Support: Enforce strict PPE compliance on-site and assist in answering basic customer inquiries regarding outages or performance.
- Adhoc Tasks: Ensure all ad hoc tasks assigned by supervisors are completed efficiently and with attention to detail, supporting overall team performance.
