Responsibilities

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and driven Senior Executive, People & Organisational Development to join our team and play a key role in shaping our people practices and organisational development initiatives.


This is a hands-on HR role offering broad exposure across HR operations, employee relations, performance management, talent development, learning & development and HR governance.


You will work closely with Management and employees, providing practical HR advice while also contributing to initiatives that enhance employee engagement, organisational effectiveness and people development.


Key Responsibilities


HR & Governance

  • Manage day-to-day HR operations across the employee lifecycle.
  • Advise Management and employees on HR policies, employment matters and employee relations.
  • Ensure HR policies and practices comply with the Malaysia Employment Act 1955 and applicable legislation.
  • Keep abreast of changes in employment laws, HR governance, regulatory requirements and best practices, and recommend necessary updates.
  • Review and improve HR policies, processes and practices.
  • Support performance management, employee engagement and talent development initiatives.


People & Organisational Development

  • Support talent development, succession planning and career development initiatives.
  • Identify training and development needs and coordinate relevant programmes.
  • Support organisational development, employee engagement and culture initiatives.
  • Analyse people-related issues and provide practical recommendations to Management.
  • Lead or support organisational development projects.


Learning & Development

  • Coordinate internal and external training programmes where required.
  • Liaise with trainers, training providers and participants.
  • Manage HRD Corp (HRDF) claimable training administration and claims.


Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, Management, Organisational Development or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant HR experience, preferably at Senior Executive or Manager level.
  • Strong knowledge of Malaysia employment legislation and HR governance.
  • Hands-on experience in HR operations, employee relations and performance management.
  • Experience in learning & development and HRD Corp claims will be an advantage.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, organisational and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proactive, resourceful, independent and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • A strong sense of ownership with the ability to work at both strategic and operational levels.
