Job Description

Responsibilities

This is a hands-on Business Analyst role focused on improving the way the Korea Hearing Aids business works. The role does not own business strategy, commercial planning, market analysis or business decision-making. These responsibilities remain with the business. The focus of the role is translating business requirements into process, application, data and reporting improvements - enabling better use of standard applications and reporting. The role also provides business-facing application support and reporting.

The role is the trusted bridge between the Korea business and Hearing Aids IT: understanding process and application issues, capturing requirements, improving data and reporting quality, and ensuring local needs are progressed through the right IT channels and aligned to global standard solutions and regional priorities.

Over time, the role is expected to broaden beyond Korea to support other Hearing Aids entities across Asia Pacific, based on business priorities and shared applications.

Responsibilities:

Improvement, Change & Regional Alignment

  • Process mapping and current-vs-future state analysis, building simple business cases.
  • Solution option assessment / functional specifications.
  • Gather improvement ideas to support change requests and define requirements.
  • Facilitate workshops, testing (UAT), training and go-live activities.
  • Identify recurring themes and process inefficiencies and help drive continuous improvement, adoption of standard global solutions, and value realisation from existing applications, data and business processes.
  • Operate as part of the HA IT Asia Pacific team, building reusable documentation and knowledge that can be extended to other regional entities over time.

Application Support & Business Continuity

  • Provide hands-on support for Korea HA business processes and core applications (e.g. Navision/ERP, Salesforce CRM, eCommerce, RPA and BI/reporting).
  • Work with business users to understand day-to-day issues and identify whether the cause is process, data, configuration, user understanding, or a technical defect.
  • Support correct use of global standard applications and processes, reducing reliance on local workarounds and person-specific knowledge.

Issue Coordination & Governance

  • Triage and clearly document issues and incidents, then engage and follow up with the right resources through to resolution.
  • Keep business stakeholders informed with clear, timely updates in Korean and English.
  • Ensure requests follow agreed prioritisation, change and governance practices, and are visible in the regional pipeline / tracking tools (e.g. ADO, ServiceNow).

Reporting, Data & Insight

  • Define reporting requirements, and help turn data into insight.
  • Help to prepare, validate, explain and improve operational and business reports, utilizing available group resources.
  • Identify data quality issues affecting reporting and process performance, and translate business reporting needs into clear requirements for IT, BI or data teams.

Requirements:

Skills & Experiences

  • Fluent Korean and English, able to communicate clearly with business users and regional/global IT colleagues.
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in business analysis, application support, or a business-facing IT role, connecting operational issues to applications, data and process.
  • Able to gather requirements, document issues clearly including process maps, and translate business needs into actionable business cases.
  • Experience with ERP, CRM, reporting, web/eCommerce or order-management systems.
  • Strong analytical, follow-up and communication skills; comfortable in a matrix environment where local relationships matter but priorities sit within IT.

Desirable

  • Experience supporting Korean business users in a regional or global IT environment; knowledge of hearing healthcare, wholesale or distribution processes.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics/Navision/D365, Salesforce, Power BI, ADO or ServiceNow, and with UAT, training and documentation.
