We are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Specialist to support purchasing, import/customs clearance, logistics, and Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) activities.
The successful candidate will work closely with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, internal stakeholders, and customers to ensure smooth and timely material movement.
Key Responsibilities
Purchasing & Procurement
- Coordinate inventory replenishment and purchasing requirements.
- Process purchase orders and monitor supplier confirmations and delivery schedules.
- Follow up on outstanding orders to ensure timely delivery.
- Resolve order discrepancies, shortages, and quality-related issues with suppliers.
- Maintain accurate purchasing records and supplier documentation.
Import, Customs & Logistics
- Coordinate import and export shipments with freight forwarders and customs brokers.
- Prepare and review shipping documents, including commercial invoices, packing lists, HS Codes, and certificates of origin.
- Ensure import activities comply with relevant FDA and SIRIM requirements.
- Monitor shipment progress and resolve customs clearance issues.
- Coordinate with internal teams and logistics partners to ensure timely deliveries.
- Identify opportunities to improve logistics efficiency and reduce freight costs.
RMA / Reverse Logistics
- Manage the end-to-end Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) process.
- Coordinate product returns, repairs, replacements, and warranty claims.
- Liaise with customers, service teams, suppliers, and logistics providers.
- Track returned products and ensure proper inventory reconciliation.
- Monitor RMA turnaround time and maintain accurate documentation.
Requirements
- Degree in Shipping, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or other relevant fields.
- 5–8 years of relevant working experience.
- Experience or knowledge in import processes/customs clearance will be an added advantage.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
- Experience coordinating with freight forwarders, customs brokers, suppliers, and logistics partners is preferred.
