Responsibilities
Our esteemed client, an established MNC, is searching for an Assistant Machine Engineer / Technician:
Job Responsibilities:
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on process machinery to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Carry out periodical maintenance for process machinery according to schedule.
Respond promptly to machine breakdowns and assist with breakdown restoration to restore machine functionality and minimize production downtime.
Support machinery setup activities to ensure readiness and timely commencement of mass production.
Carry out corrective maintenance tasks in accordance with planned schedules and procedures.
Initiate, plan, and implement quality improvement and preventive measures to enhance operational efficiency.
Propose, plan and implement quality preventive and improvement activities.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals and performance targets.
Explore and develop knowledge of machinery maintenance and create new ideas to improve machine reliability and maintain a safe and conducive working environment.
Job Requirements:
Minimum qualification with NITEC in the relevant course/field, relevant fields include Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Mechatronics Engineering.
Minimum 1 year of relevant maintenance experience is preferred.
Training is provided.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with PowerPoint is an added advantage.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong team player with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Positive and resilient attitude in dynamic and challenging work environments.
Proactive and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Willing and able to work on a rotating shift schedule, including morning and night shifts.
