Our client is an established food distributor seeking a hands-on ”Assistant Supply Chain Manager” to support its daily supply chain operations.

-Location: Jurong
-Handle SG market

Key Responsibilities

• Support demand planning, purchasing, inventory, warehousing and delivery operations.
• Prepare forecasts and replenishment plans based on sales and stock levels.
• Monitor stock availability, expiry dates and slow-moving inventory.
• Coordinate orders and shipments with suppliers, forwarders, warehouses and transport providers.
• Support cold-chain logistics for frozen and chilled products.
• Resolve shipment delays, stock shortages and delivery issues.
• Work closely with Sales, Finance and Quality Assurance teams.
• Prepare operational reports and track relevant KPIs.
• Support process improvements and supervise daily team activities.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or a related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant supply chain or logistics experience.
• Experience in food distribution, FMCG, manufacturing or wholesale is preferred.
• Knowledge of inventory, purchasing, import procedures and cold-chain logistics.
• Proficient in Excel and familiar with ERP or inventory systems.
• Hands-on, analytical and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
• Supervisory experience would be an advantage.
