Job Overview
We are looking for a Privacy Specialist to support data privacy, information handling, and compliance activities across our management consulting, training, and professional outsourcing services. The role will work closely with internal teams and clients to support privacy processes, review data handling practices, maintain relevant documentation, and promote responsible management of personal and business information across consulting and service delivery activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development, review, and implementation of data privacy policies, procedures, and internal guidelines.
- Monitor business processes involving personal data and identify potential privacy and data handling risks.
- Assist with privacy reviews and assessments for consulting, training, outsourcing, and IT-related service activities.
- Maintain privacy documentation, records, registers, and supporting compliance materials.
- Support reviews of client and vendor agreements relating to data protection, confidentiality, and information handling.
- Assist with data privacy assessments, including data processing activities and relevant risk reviews.
- Monitor developments relating to Singapore data protection requirements and other applicable privacy standards.
- Support the management of privacy incidents, enquiries, and follow-up actions where required.
- Work with internal teams to improve data handling procedures, access controls, retention practices, and documentation.
- Provide practical guidance to staff on privacy responsibilities and appropriate handling of personal information.
- Support internal audits, compliance reviews, client assessments, and certification-related activities.
- Prepare privacy reports, management updates, and compliance materials when required.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Information Privacy, Law, Compliance, Information Security, Business, IT, or a related discipline.
- 2–5 years of experience in data privacy, compliance, information governance, risk management, or a related field.
- Good understanding of Singapore data protection requirements and general privacy principles.
- Familiarity with PDPA, data processing activities, privacy assessments, and information handling practices.
- Strong analytical, research, documentation, and communication skills.
- Good attention to detail and ability to manage confidential and sensitive information appropriately.
- Experience working with consulting firms, professional services, IT services, outsourcing, or certification-related activities will be an advantage.
- Comfortable working with clients, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable working with documentation and compliance management systems.
- Relevant privacy, compliance, or information security certifications will be an advantage.
- Strong written and spoken English with good stakeholder management skills.

Pay: $6,000.00 - $7,500.00 per month
