Role Description The Social Media Marketing Intern will support the marketing team in managing and growing Ritelac’s presence on key social media platforms. This full-time, on-site role based in Cheras involves assisting in planning and executing social media campaigns, creating and scheduling content, and monitoring engagement and performance metrics. Day-to-day tasks include drafting posts, supporting visual content creation, responding to comments and messages in a professional manner, and helping maintain a consistent brand voice. The intern will also collaborate with team members to align social media activities with broader digital marketing and branding initiatives, contribute ideas for content improvements, and prepare basic reports on campaign results.

Qualifications

• Strong interest and foundational skills in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Content Creation.
• Basic understanding of Digital Marketing and Marketing principles, preferably within FMCG or related industries.
• Effective Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication in English; additional language skills are an advantage.
• Ability to use major social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn) and basic content tools (e.g., Canva or similar).
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks under guidance in an on-site team environment.
• Proactive mindset, willingness to learn, and openness to feedback; prior internship or project experience in social media is a plus.
