Trade Marketing Manager – Malaysia

Location: Selangor, Malaysia

Contract: 2-year renewable contract

Working arrangement: Remote / Work from Home

Reporting to: Regional Trade Marketing Manager, Singapore

We are looking for an experienced and independent Trade Marketing Manager to lead and drive beverage trade marketing activities across Malaysia.

This role offers the flexibility of working remotely while taking ownership of the local market. You will have the opportunity to work with established global beverage brands and manage trade marketing initiatives across both On-Premise and Modern Trade channels.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute the overall trade marketing strategy for the Malaysia market.
• Drive trade marketing activities across On-Premise and Modern Trade channels.
• Develop channel-specific activations, promotions and visibility initiatives to support brand growth and commercial objectives.
• Work closely with sales teams, distributors and key trade partners to ensure effective execution in the market.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and consumer insights to identify opportunities.
• Manage trade marketing budgets and evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns and activations.
• Coordinate with regional and global stakeholders while adapting strategies to local market needs.
• Report directly to the Regional Trade Marketing Manager based in Singapore.

Requirements

• Experience in Trade Marketing within the beverage, FMCG or related consumer products industry.
• Strong familiarity with the On-Premise business, including working with bars, restaurants, hotels and other hospitality channels.
• Experience in Modern Trade is highly desirable.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple stakeholders in a remote working environment.
• Strong commercial mindset with the ability to translate brand strategies into effective in-market execution.
• Self-driven, organised and comfortable taking ownership of the Malaysia market.
