Full Time Lecturer - Psychology and Counselling Jobs, Salary up to MYR 4,500 in City University Malaysia Selangor - Maukerja

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality lectures, tutorials, workshops, and practical sessions for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
• Develop and continuously improve course materials, assessments, and learning resources.
• Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate research projects, internships, and practicum placements.
• Provide academic advising and mentorship to students.
• Conduct research, publish in reputable journals, and participate in conferences.
• Support programme accreditation, quality assurance, and curriculum review initiatives.
• Engage in faculty committees, community outreach, industry collaborations, and university events.
• Perform other academic and administrative duties assigned by the Faculty.

Requirements

• Master's or PhD in Psychology, Counselling, Counselling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or a related discipline from a recognised university.
• Strong academic knowledge and commitment to excellence in teaching and learning.
• Teaching experience in higher education is an advantage.
• Professional practice experience in psychology or counseling is preferred.
• Registration with relevant professional bodies (where applicable) will be an added advantage.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary academic environment.
• Demonstrated research and publication experience is an added advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
