Job Summary
Lead multidisciplinary teams to drive innovation by aligning R&D objectives with company goals. Oversee product development lifecycle, manage resources, and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver safe, high-quality products on time and within budget.
Responsibilities
Align R&D objectives with company goals, market trends, and commercial targets to drive innovation and business growth
Lead multidisciplinary teams of scientists, engineers, and researchers to deliver projects on time and within budget
Manage departmental budgets and project timelines to optimize resource allocation and operational efficiency
Oversee the complete product development lifecycle from concept generation and prototyping through testing, validation, and commercial launch
Collaborate with Marketing, Regulatory Compliance, and Operations teams to ensure products meet safety, quality, and market demand standards
Develop and implement testing protocols, design controls, and regulatory compliance frameworks to maintain product quality and safety
Required competencies and certifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration
Progressive experience in research management, engineering, or product development
Leadership or team-management experience
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Apply advanced project management skills to complex, multidisciplinary projects
Use strategic thinking to align technical initiatives with business objectives
Employ technical problem-solving skills to address challenges in product development
Demonstrate strong interpersonal communication to lead teams and collaborate cross-functionally
