We are looking for a responsible and hands-on Finance cum HR Executive to manage the company's finance, accounting and human resource functions, while providing support in day-to-day business operations.
The ideal candidate should be organised, detail-oriented and able to work independently, with good knowledge of accounting, payroll and HR administration.
1. Finance & Accounts
- Handle the company's day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger and bank reconciliation.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records and financial documentation.
- Handle daily accounting transactions, including invoicing, receipts, payments, supplier bills and customer collections.
- Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding customer payments.
- Manage accounts payable and ensure timely processing of supplier payments.
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports for management review.
- Monitor company cash flow, expenses and financial commitments.
- Assist in budgeting, cash flow forecasting and financial planning.
- Assist in preparing documents and schedules for annual audit and tax filing.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, company secretary, banks and other relevant parties when required.
- Ensure accounting records and financial practices are properly maintained and comply with applicable Malaysian accounting and tax requirements.
- Review staff claims, expenses and payment requests.
- Assist management in reviewing financial information and preparing basic financial analysis when required.
2. Human Resources & Payroll
- Handle the company's day-to-day HR and employee administration matters.
- Coordinate recruitment activities, including job postings, candidate screening, interview arrangements and onboarding.
- Maintain employee records, personal files, attendance and leave records.
- Prepare employment letters, confirmation letters, HR-related correspondence and other employee documentation.
- Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Handle monthly payroll processing and ensure salaries, allowances, deductions and statutory contributions are accurate and timely.
- Prepare and submit statutory contributions including EPF, SOCSO, EIS and PCB/MTD.
- Monitor employee attendance, leave, overtime, allowances and deductions.
- Handle employee enquiries relating to salary, leave, benefits and company policies.
- Assist management in handling employee performance, disciplinary and workplace matters.
- Assist in implementing and maintaining HR policies, procedures and employee guidelines.
- Ensure HR records and practices are properly maintained in accordance with applicable Malaysian employment requirements.
- Coordinate staff training and employee engagement activities when required.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee and company information.
3. Operations Support
- Support management in monitoring day-to-day business operations.
- Coordinate with different departments on operational matters when required.
- Follow up on outstanding issues and assist in ensuring tasks are completed on time.
- Assist in identifying workflow gaps and implementing practical improvements.
- Support ERP, accounting, HR or other system implementation when required.
- Assist management with company projects and process improvement initiatives.
4. Reporting & Management Support
- Prepare regular finance and HR reports for management review.
- Provide updates on receivables, payables, cash flow, payroll and employee matters.
- Assist management in monitoring financial and HR-related issues.
- Maintain proper financial and HR documentation and records.
- Perform other relevant duties and responsibilities assigned by management.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum 2–4 years of relevant experience in accounting and HR, preferably in an SME environment.
- Experience in handling full set accounting is preferred.
- Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes.
- Experience in payroll processing and Malaysian statutory requirements.
- Familiarity with EPF, SOCSO, EIS and PCB/MTD.
- Experience in recruitment and general HR administration.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Experience with accounting software, ERP or HR systems is an advantage.
- Good numerical, analytical and organisational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Able to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Responsible, trustworthy and able to handle confidential information.
- Proactive and willing to take ownership of assigned responsibilities.
Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
