Develop detailed designs and plans for road construction projects, including layout, grading, drainage, and pavement structure, using engineering software and tools to create and review design models and simulations

Conduct site assessments to gather data and evaluate site conditions for informed project planning

Oversee construction processes to ensure timely completion, budget adherence, and compliance with quality standards

Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate smooth project execution and resolve issues promptly

Monitor project progress, identify delays or problems, and implement corrective actions to maintain schedule and quality

Ensure all construction activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including environmental and safety standards

Conduct inspections and audits to verify adherence to design specifications and safety protocols

Provide technical guidance and support to construction teams and stakeholders, reviewing and approving construction plans, material specifications, and engineering calculations

Maintain accurate project documentation, including records of progress, changes, delays, and financial expenditures

Prepare and present reports on project status, issues, and performance metrics to management and stakeholders

Address and resolve technical and operational challenges during construction by collaborating with engineers and professionals to develop innovative solutions
