Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a wide range of dishes according to the restaurant's menu and standards.
• Ensure the quality, taste, freshness and presentation of all food served.
• Plan and organise daily food preparation and cooking activities.
• Check ingredients and ensure proper storage and handling of food items.
• Maintain high standards of kitchen cleanliness, hygiene and food safety.
• Monitor food inventory and inform management when supplies need to be replenished.
• Minimise food wastage and control the use of ingredients.
• Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
• Train and guide junior kitchen staff when required.
• Ensure dishes are prepared and served on time during busy operating periods.
