Role Description The Admin Intern will support the firm’s daily administrative and operational activities in an on-site role based in Greater Kuala Lumpur. This internship involves assisting with document preparation and filing, managing correspondence, organizing and maintaining physical and digital records, and handling basic data entry tasks. The intern will help coordinate appointments and meetings, support front-desk and customer service functions, and assist lawyers and staff with general office duties as needed. The role provides exposure to a legal office environment, including opportunities to observe case management processes and learn about legal documentation and workflows. This is an internship role designed for individuals interested in gaining hands-on administrative experience in a professional law firm setting.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication and professional phone and email etiquette.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills, with the ability to follow procedures, pay attention to detail, and handle information accurately.
- Candidates should possess Administrative Assistance capabilities, including document handling, scheduling, record keeping, and basic data entry.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service skills, with a client-oriented mindset and the ability to interact courteously with visitors and callers.
- Candidates should possess basic Finance awareness, such as handling simple billing or expense tracking support under supervision.
- Proficiency in common office software (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, email, document management systems) is beneficial.
