  • Perform statutory inspections and examinations of lifts and escalators in compliance with JKKP regulations and company standards.
  • Ensure assigned equipment remains safe, reliable, and compliant with all statutory requirements.
  • Identify safety hazards, technical defects, and non-conformities and recommend corrective actions promptly.
  • Exercise sound technical judgment and professional integrity when conducting inspections and assessments.
  • Take ownership of inspection schedules, certification requirements, and compliance documentation.
  • Support the achievement of zero major safety violations and regulatory non-compliance findings.
  • Provide technical guidance and coaching to technicians and junior team members.
    Promote a strong safety culture and lead by example in safe work practices.
  • Maintain accurate inspection records, reports, and statutory documentation.
    Build professional relationships with customers, consultants, building owners, and regulatory authorities.
  • Support troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Contribute to improving equipment reliability, service quality, and customer confidence.
  • Remain updated on industry standards, regulations, and technological developments.
  • Demonstrate accountability, professionalism, and commitment to operational excellence.

Who we are looking for

Technical Requirements

  • Registered Competent Person (Lift) with JKKP/DOSH.
  • Strong knowledge of lift and escalator systems, including mechanical, electrical, and safety components.
  • Good understanding of the Factories and Machinery Act, Lift Regulations, and relevant industry standards.
  • Ability to perform independent inspections, testing, troubleshooting, and technical assessments.
  • Experience in lift maintenance, modernization, installation, or statutory inspection.
