Full Time Draughtsman - Mechanical Drafter Jobs, in Avenue Precision Engineering Sdn. Bhd. Selangor - Maukerja

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draughtsman/Drafter to join our team. The Draughtsman will play a crucial role in our design and engineering processes, transforming concepts and ideas into precise technical drawings and plans. This position requires a strong command of drafting software and the ability to work closely with engineers, architects, and other professionals to bring projects to life.

Responsibilities:
•    Utilize CAD software to produce detailed drawings, plans, and schematics according to project specifications and industry standards.

•    Collaborate with engineers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives.

•    Interpret and analyses technical drawings, sketches, and specifications to accurately translate design concepts into comprehensive drafting layouts.

•    Incorporate design changes and modifications as directed by project leads or engineering team members.

•    Ensure compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and quality standards in all drafting work.

•    Perform calculations and measurements to verify dimensions, tolerances, and material requirements.

•    Create bill of materials (BOM) and part lists to support procurement and manufacturing processes.

•    Review and revise drawings to address errors, discrepancies, or design changes.

•    Maintain organized files and documentation of drafting projects for future reference and archival purposes.

•    Participate in design reviews, meetings, and project coordination activities and site visits as needed.

Qualifications:
•    Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, or related field.

•    Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar programs is necessary.

•    Strong technical aptitude and understanding of mechanical principles and engineering concepts.

•    Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in drafting work.

•    Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and convey technical information.

•    Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet project deadlines.

•    Knowledge of industry standards, codes, and regulations relevant to mechanical design and drafting.

•    1-2 years prior experience in a drafting or design role preferred.
