Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial laundry equipment.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic faults.
Conduct daily inspections of machinery and utilities.
Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimise production downtime.
Maintain maintenance records, service reports, and spare parts inventory.
Assist in equipment installation, commissioning, and upgrades.
Ensure compliance with workplace safety and environmental regulations.
Coordinate with production teams to schedule maintenance activities.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.
Assist in supervising technicians and contractors when required.
Requirements
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read engineering drawings and electrical schematics.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Time management and organisational skills.
Willingness to work shifts, weekends.
Factory or industrial laundry environment.
Exposure to heat, steam, noise, and moving machinery.
Required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
May involve lifting equipment and prolonged standing or walking.
