Role Description This full-time on-site Junior Network Engineer role is based in Cyberjaya. The role involves assisting in the design, configuration, and maintenance of network infrastructure to support Rapide Telecom’s connectivity and managed services. Daily tasks include monitoring network performance, identifying and resolving technical issues, and supporting network deployments and upgrades. The Junior Network Engineer will work closely with senior engineers to implement network security measures, document configurations and procedures, and provide technical support to internal teams and customers. The role also includes learning and applying best practices in cloud-native networking and SASE solutions in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Network Administration and Network Engineering for managing and supporting network infrastructure.
• Candidates should possess skills in Troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve network issues efficiently.
• Candidates should possess skills in Network Security to help implement and maintain secure network environments.
• Candidates should possess skills in Network Design to assist in planning and optimizing network architectures.
• Relevant academic background in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• Familiarity with common networking technologies and protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching).
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills, with the ability to work in a team-oriented setting.
• Willing to learn and able to work under-pressure
