Full Time Assistant Project Engineer - Planner (Contract) Jobs, in TXMR Nextech Selangor - Maukerja

You will plan and manage assigned projects end-to-end from preparing schedule, cost, quality and safety, so each project is delivered on time, within budget and to specification.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the full project lifecycle from design review, fabrication and construction through commissioning and final handover.
• Develop and manage project schedules using Gantt charts and MS Project, including resource planning, deliverables, progress tracking and variance control.
• Monitor fabrication and site activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality requirements, ISO standards and applicable safety regulations.
• Coordinate closely with engineering, procurement, vendors, subcontractors, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure effective project execution and communication.
• Prepare weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly project reports in accordance with client and project requirements, including project progress, risks, issues and mitigation measures.
• Manage day-to-day site operations, ensuring the readiness of tools and equipment and the availability of required materials for smooth project execution.
• Verify subcontractor work progress and supplier invoices while supporting project cost monitoring and progress claims.
• Provide technical support to clients and subcontractors and coordinate corrective actions for engineering deliverables where required.
• Support the recruitment and deployment of general workers, including permanent and contract personnel, based on project requirements.
• Perform ad-hoc project duties and support special assignments as required.

Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma/Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• ≥ 2 years relevant experience (project engineering; planning & scheduling).
• Fresh graduate is encourage to apply.
• Knowledge of construction safety regulations and procedures.
• Strong organisational, communication (English & Bahasa Malaysia) and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Problem-solving, accountability, leadership and teamwork; proactive and independent.
• Tools: AutoCAD, MS Project, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Advantages: ISO standards exposure; proficiency with AutoCAD/SolidWorks; simulation tools (MATLAB/Simulink).
• Willing to travel and work outstation across Peninsular Malaysia.
