Lead a High-Performing Admissions Team

We're looking for an experienced and people-focused Team Leader - Admissions to join our Membership team in Kuala Lumpur. This is an exciting opportunity for a proven leader who thrives in a service-driven environment and is passionate about developing teams, driving operational excellence, and delivering outstanding customer experiences.

Based in our modern, collaborative and supportive Bangsar office, you will lead an established Admissions team while managing the onboarding and development of new team members. Reporting to the Manager, Admissions Operations, you'll play a critical role in ensuring accurate, fair and consistent membership assessments across a range of admission pathways while fostering a high-performing, customer-centric culture.

About The Role

As Team Leader, Admissions, you will lead a team responsible for assessing membership applications across a range of entry pathways. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll balance operational oversight with people leadership, ensuring high-quality assessment outcomes, exceptional member service and continuous improvement across the function.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead, coach and develop a high-performing Admissions team, including onboarding new team members.
• Oversee admissions assessments, ensuring accuracy, consistency and compliance with relevant policies and standards.
• Monitor team performance, quality and service delivery against KPIs.
• Act as the escalation point for complex admissions and assessment enquiries.
• Drive process improvements, operational efficiencies and change initiatives.
• Use data and insights to enhance team performance and the member experience.
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business.
• Champion a customer-focused culture and support positive member outcomes.
• Maintain accurate policies, procedures and team documentation.
• Provide leadership and support through organisational change and growth.
  
  

About You

We're seeking a confident and capable leader who combines strong operational expertise with exceptional people leadership skills.

Essential Experience

• Proven experience leading and developing teams within admissions, education, member services, credential assessment or a related environment.
• Strong people leadership experience, including coaching, performance management and driving team engagement.
• Demonstrated success managing operational performance, service delivery and quality outcomes.
• Experience leading teams through change and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  
  

Highly Regarded

• Knowledge of accounting, professional education, higher education, membership or credential assessment environments.
• Experience assessing qualifications and/or practical work experience pathways.
• Degree qualification.
• Advanced proficiency across the Microsoft Office Suite.W
