AWS Cloud Deployment Backend Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for an AWS Cloud Deployment Backend Engineer with around 5 years of professional experience in backend development, AWS cloud deployment, and production systems.

The role will focus on developing and maintaining backend applications, deploying systems to AWS, supporting cloud infrastructure, and ensuring reliable application performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve backend applications and APIs.
• Deploy and manage applications in AWS cloud environments.
• Work with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, IAM, VPC, and Load Balancing.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
• Monitor application performance and cloud infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot backend, deployment, database, and server-related issues.
• Assist with cloud security, access control, backup, and monitoring.
• Optimize applications and cloud resources for performance and reliability.
• Work with developers and technical teams on application architecture and deployment.
• Maintain technical documentation and deployment procedures.
• Participate in system upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure improvements.

Qualifications

• Around 5 years of professional experience in backend development, cloud engineering, DevOps, or a related technical role.
• Good hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and application deployment.
• Good experience with at least one backend programming language such as Node.js, Python, Java, Go, or PHP.
• Good understanding of REST APIs, databases, Linux, Git, and networking.
• Experience with Docker and CI/CD.
• Experience supporting production applications and resolving technical issues.
• Good understanding of cloud security, IAM, monitoring, and infrastructure management.
• Experience with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar technologies.
• Good analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as with a technical team.
• Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, Kubernetes, ECS/EKS, or serverless technologies is an advantage.
• AWS certification is an advantage but not mandatory.
