Role Description

Based at Damansara Heights, the Manager, Transformation supports the execution strategic transformation initiatives across JLand Group to enhance business performance, operational efficiency and organisational agility. The role translates the Group’s strategic priorities into actionable transformation programmes, drives cross-functional initiatives and develop executive-level recommendations.


The position plays a critical role in translating strategic objectives into actionable plans, ensuring alignment across business units as well as providing structured analysis, programme management and governance support to deliver measurable business outcomes.


Key Responsibility

Transformation Strategy & Execution

  • Responsible for the development and execution of enterprise-wide transformation strategies aligned with JLG’s business objectives and long-term growth agenda.
  • Identify opportunities for operational improvement, digital transformation, cost optimisation and capability development across the organisation.
  • Drive prioritisation and implementation of transformation initiatives to ensure alignment with business priorities and measurable value creation.
  • Conduct market research, industry benchmarking and competitor analysis to support transformation planning.
  • Develop business cases, strategic options assessments and management recommendations.
  • Prepare strategic reports, proposals and presentations for Senior Management and Executive Leadership.


Transformation Programme & Project Governance

  • Coordinate strategic and transformation initiatives across the Group’s transformation programme portfolio, ensuring initiatives are delivered within scope, timeline and budget.
  • Establish and maintain PMO governance frameworks, including project standards, reporting structures and stage-gate processes.
  • Monitor transformation project progress and proactively identify risks, issues and mitigation actions.
  • Provide strategic oversight and guidance to project teams.
  • Ensure consistency in project documentation, reporting and governance practices across transformation initiatives.


Data Insights & Performance Tracking

  • Establish performance metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness and impact of transformation initiatives.
  • Analyse operational and financial data to assess transformation outcomes.
  • Develop dashboards, reports and management insights to track transformation progress and value realisation.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to Management to support decision-making.


Stakeholder Management & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Act as a strategic partner to Senior Management and business leaders in driving transformation initiatives.
  • Work closely with IT, Finance, HR, Operations and external partners.
  • Facilitate strategic workshops, alignment sessions and problem-solving discussions.
  • Ensure clear communication and alignment between leadership, project teams and business units throughout transformation programmes.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, Engineering or related discipline.
  • 6–10 years of relevant experience in transformation, strategy, management consulting, business improvement or project management.
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional transformation or strategic initiatives.
  • Strong project management and programme governance experience.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence Senior Management.
