Major Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Assist the Assistant Manager (Production) in planning and executing policies or instructions issued by the management.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, HACCP, FSSC 22000, OH&S and HAS requirements.
• Oversee the production operations i.e. mixing, forming, baking and creaming, and ensure that all the products are produced according to specifications.
• Minimize the departmental manufacturing/production operation rejects and wastages.
• Analyze and to find the solution for every products that does not conform to specifications.
• Conduct training for all workers wherever necessary.
• Ensure all workers follow the company’s and departmental rules and regulations.
• Report to the superior on day-to-day operation.
• Assist the superior in achieving departmental goal and KPI target.
Undertaking any and all other duties and responsibilities as so instructed by the superior and/or Company.

Qualifications and Skills Required

The ideal candidate will be/have:

• Possess at least Diploma/ Advanced/ Higher/ Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree in Food Technology/ Food Science/ Manufacturing or equivalent.
• Excellent analytical and trouble-shooting skills.
• Able to make effective and firm decisions.
• Able to adapt in a hot environment.
• Reliable and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Able to communicate effectively with his superiors, peers and subordinates.
• Able to speak and write fluently in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Computer-literate and proficient with Microsoft Office Suite programs (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).
• Able to work on shift.
• Possession of own transport is preferred.
• To be based in Alor Gajah, Melaka.
