About the Role 

Our client, a Japanese organization supporting the manufacturing and trading sectors, is expanding its AI capabilities in Singapore. You will identify business opportunities, design practical AI solutions, and deliver applications that improve operations. The role works closely with Singapore and Japan-based stakeholders. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Gather business requirements and identify suitable AI use cases. 

• Design, develop, and implement AI applications and agent-based solutions using Python. 

• Build proofs of concept, prototypes, and production-ready solutions. 

• Prepare clear solution documentation, proposals, and PowerPoint presentations. 

• Present recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders. 

• Collaborate with SAP, business, and Japan-based teams on AI-driven operational improvements. 

Requirements 

• Minimum 3 years of experience in AI solution or application development. 

• Strong Python skills and hands-on experience with AI agents or Generative AI solutions. 

• Consulting, professional services, or client-facing experience is essential. 

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, documentation, and presentation skills. 

• Based in Singapore, with valid work authorization. 

• Japanese language capability is preferred to support Japan-based stakeholders. 

Preferred Experience 

• LLMs, prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), or agent frameworks. 

• Enterprise platforms such as Azure AI, Azure OpenAI, SAP, or similar technologies. 

• Manufacturing, supply chain, trading, or enterprise process improvement projects.
