As ALiv reaches wider digital audiences, we are looking for a livestream host who can explain our technology clearly, demonstrate its practical value and turn product interest into followers, enquiries and sales.

We are looking for a confident, engaging and sales-driven Freelance Tech Livestream Host to represent ALiv across platforms such as TikTok Shop and Shopee Live.

The successful candidate should have a genuine interest in technology and gadgets, understand how to attract and retain an online audience, and be able to turn product information into engaging livestream content that supports follower growth, enquiries and sales.

The Role

• Host three livestream sessions per week based on an agreed schedule
• Research and understand the featured ALiv products before every session
• Independently prepare the content, presentation flow and talking points
• Present and demonstrate ALiv products naturally and confidently
• Explain product features, benefits, prices and promotions in simple language
• Show how ALiv products can be used in practical, everyday situations
• Develop interesting product demonstrations and interactive segments
• Engage viewers through questions, discussions and live responses
• Encourage viewers to follow ALiv, purchase products or submit enquiries
• Maintain viewer interest and encourage audiences to return for future sessions
• Respond naturally to viewer comments, questions and reactions
• Work towards increasing followers, audience engagement, enquiries and completed sales
• Review livestream performance and identify ways to improve future sessions
• Maintain a professional, positive and trustworthy on-camera presence

Content Preparation

The host will be responsible for preparing the content for each livestream. This includes:

• Planning the structure and flow of each session
• Deciding how the featured products will be introduced and demonstrated
• Developing suitable talking points and audience-engagement ideas
• Researching relevant technology and gadget trends
• Preparing questions, interactive segments and calls to action
• Finding natural ways to encourage follows, enquiries and purchases
• Ensuring the livestream remains informative, engaging and commercially effective
• Submitting a brief content plan to ALiv before each session
• Using only accurate and approved product information, prices and promotions

ALiv will provide the relevant product specifications, demonstration products, promotional details and brand guidelines. The host must be able to transform this information into engaging livestream content independently.

• Confident, lively and natural when speaking on camera
• Genuinely interested in technology, smart devices and gadgets
• Able to make technical products interesting and easy to understand
• Comfortable engaging and responding to viewers in real time
• Able to plan and prepare livestream content independently
• Understands how to attract viewers and maintain their attention
• Motivated to grow followers, generate enquiries and increase product sales
• Able to promote products persuasively without being aggressive or misleading
• Comfortable improvising instead of relying entirely on a fixed script
• Reliable and available for three scheduled sessions each week
• Comfortable communicating clearly in English; additional languages are an advantage
• Familiar with TikTok Shop, Shopee Live, social commerce or online selling
• Willing to learn ALiv’s products and follow brand guidelines accurately

Previous experience in livestream hosting, sales, content creation, consumer electronics, technology or gadget reviews is preferred.

Candidates without formal livestreaming experience may also be considered if they demonstrate strong communication skills, initiative, a genuine interest in technology and the ability to engage an online audience.
