Company Summary

Julian Grey’s client is an established provider of interior materials and furniture solutions for commercial and retail projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare bills of quantities, tender documents, cost estimates, tender clarifications and quotations.
• Perform quantity take-offs and measurements based on drawings and specifications.
• Source quotations from suppliers and subcontractors and prepare cost comparisons.
• Evaluate tender submissions, negotiate pricing and support the award of subcontracts.
• Manage procurement activities, material sourcing and project cost control.
• Prepare and maintain variation orders, site instructions and supporting documentation.
• Assess progress claims and finalise subcontractor and main contract final accounts.
• Maintain project cost records and support project closing activities.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of quantity surveying experience in interior fit-out, retail, renovation, interior materials or furniture projects.
• Familiar with tendering, procurement, cost control and contract administration.
