About the Company


ServiceNow Developer Implementor: Builds, configures, and customizes ServiceNow applications, workflows, and automation. Delivers solutions for ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, and CMDB for the benefit of internal IT and business users. Supports the business by improving efficiency, reducing manual processes, and enabling effective service delivery.



About the Role:


Accountability Challenges Develop & Configure ServiceNow Modules Configure ITSM, ITOM, ITAM modules Develop workflows, business rules, scripts, and UI policies Customize forms and dashboards Fully functional, automated ServiceNow modules delivering process efficiency Ensuring consistency and accuracy across modules; adhering to best practices Complex service dependencies; ensuring data integrity across multiple sources Data mismatches, integration failures, and version compatibility Ensuring dashboards reflect accurate, real-time data from multiple sources CMDB Design & Management & Integration Development Implement CMDB structure, tables, and relationships Map services, CI relationships, and data normalization Design and develop integrations via APIs and MID Servers Connect ServiceNow with monitoring, IT, and business systems Accurate and up-to-date CMDB enabling service visibility and impact analysis Seamless data flow and system interoperability supporting ROC and IT operations.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop & Configure ServiceNow Modules
  • Configure ITSM, ITOM, ITAM modules
  • Develop workflows, business rules, scripts, and UI policies
  • Customize forms and dashboards
  • Fully functional, automated ServiceNow modules delivering process efficiency
  • Ensuring consistency and accuracy across modules; adhering to best practices
  • Complex service dependencies; ensuring data integrity across multiple sources
  • Data mismatches, integration failures, and version compatibility
  • Ensuring dashboards reflect accurate, real-time data from multiple sources
  • Implement CMDB structure, tables, and relationships
  • Map services, CI relationships, and data normalization
  • Design and develop integrations via APIs and MID Servers
  • Connect ServiceNow with monitoring, IT, and business systems
  • Accurate and up-to-date CMDB enabling service visibility and impact analysis
  • Seamless data flow and system interoperability supporting ROC and IT operations


Qualifications:


  • Degree in related computer science principles


Required Skills:


  • 6–10+ years of hands-on experience leading ServiceNow development initiatives.
  • Deep expertise in ITSM, ITOM, and ITAM modules, including Incident, Change, Problem, Request, Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, SAM, and HAM.
  • ServiceNow Scripting & Development: Proficiency in JavaScript, GlideScript, Jelly scripting, and HTML/CSS for forms and UI customization.
  • Workflow & Automation Design: Ability to design and implement automated processes using Flow Designer, Orchestration, business rules, and scheduled jobs.
  • CMDB Design & Management: Skills in creating and maintaining CMDB tables, CI relationships, and data normalization to support ITSM, ITOM, and ITAM modules.
  • Integration Development: Experience integrating ServiceNow with external systems and monitoring tools via REST/SOAP APIs, MID Servers, and web services.
  • Reporting & Dashboard Creation: Ability to build Performance Analytics dashboards, KPIs, and reports using ServiceNow reporting tools and Scripting for advanced analytics.
  • Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution: Analytical skills to diagnose and resolve platform or module issues efficiently.
  • Platform Best Practices & Governance: Knowledge of ServiceNow development standards, governance policies, and upgrade considerations.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Ability to work effectively with architects, admins, operations teams, and business stakeholders.
  • Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Capability to document workflows, scripts, integrations, and configurations for maintainability and BAU support.


Preferred Skills:


  • Programming Languages / Skills Mapped to Modules: ITSM (Incident, Problem, Change, Request): JavaScript, GlideScript, HTML, CSS, Flow Designer scripting.
  • ITOM (Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management): JavaScript, GlideScript, REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server scripting, Orchestration scripting.
  • ITAM / SAM / HAM: JavaScript, GlideScript, Orchestration, Flow Designer, integration scripting for license and asset management.
  • ServiceNow CSA /CSD/CIS /CTA certifications are mandatory but would be advantageous to have more.
