We are seeking an experienced Senior Linux Administrator to manage and maintain enterprise Linux infrastructure within a high-availability data centre environment.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers (Red Hat, CentOS).
• Perform system updates, patch management, and security hardening.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and file systems.
• Implement and manage monitoring tools and respond to system alerts.
• Monitor system performance and perform incident troubleshooting.
• Work with virtualisation technologies such as RHEV Hypervisor and VMware.
• Create and manage virtual machines (VMs) and maintain virtualised environments.
• Diagnose and resolve system and application-level issues, including root cause analysis and preventive improvements.
• Support DevOps automation initiatives and infrastructure operations.
  
  
  

Requirements

Must-have:

• Applicants must have the legal right to work in Malaysia. Visa sponsorship is not available.
• Minimum Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Linux Engineer or Linux Administrator.
• Strong hands-on experience with Linux operating systems (Red Hat, CentOS) and shell scripting.
• Exposure to DevOps practices and automation tools such as Ansible or Jenkins.
• Experience with virtualisation technologies such as RHEV Hypervisor or VMware.
• Experience supporting enterprise Linux infrastructure in data centre or production environments.

• Experience with monitoring tools such as Nagios, Prometheus, or Grafana.
• Familiarity with automation and infrastructure management practices.
• Exposure to DevOps pipelines and infrastructure-as-code environments.
• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise or telecommunications infrastructure environments.
