Job Title: Senior Java/Python Developer – FICO Blaze

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Java/Python Developer with strong FICO Blaze Rules experience to design, develop, test, and deploy business rules and Java-based applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in FICO Blaze Advisor, Core Java, J2EE, Spring, REST APIs, Python/JavaScript, and modern deployment technologies such as OpenShift/Kubernetes and CI/CD.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze requirements and develop business rules using FICO Blaze Advisor.
  • Create and maintain rules using Blaze IDE/Eclipse IDE and RMA.
  • Work with Decision Tables, Rule Sets, Templates, and Decision Trees.
  • Develop, test, and deploy Java-based rule services using EJB/Web Services.
  • Develop applications using Core Java, J2EE, Spring, and REST APIs.
  • Support unit testing, SIT/UAT, troubleshooting, and production issues.
  • Work with OpenShift/Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines for deployment and orchestration.
  • Collaborate with business, QA, and technical teams to deliver application solutions.


Mandatory Requirements

  • FICO Blaze Advisor / BRE: Minimum 2 years
  • Java: 7–9 years
  • Python: Around 5 years
  • JavaScript: Around 5 years
  • Hands-on experience with FICO Blaze rule analysis and rule writing.
  • Strong experience with Blaze IDE/Eclipse IDE and RMA.
  • Strong understanding of Decision Tables, Rule Sets, Templates, Decision Trees, and Blaze utilities.
  • Experience deploying rule services as Java EJB/Web Services.
  • Knowledge of ADB deployment and management.
  • Strong Core Java and J2EE knowledge.
  • Experience with Spring Framework and RESTful Web Services.
  • Experience with OpenShift, Kubernetes, or similar container orchestration platforms.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.

Work Results / Deliverables

  • Build and deliver high-quality application and rule-service components.
  • Perform unit testing and ensure code/rule quality.
  • Support SIT, UAT, integration, and production testing.
  • Ensure successful deployment and implementation of rule services.
