Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead service operations for mechanical and industrial equipment, ensuring technical excellence, team leadership, and outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage the service team to deliver efficient and effective equipment servicing and repairs
Plan, schedule, and coordinate maintenance activities to maximize equipment uptime and reliability
Provide technical guidance and troubleshoot mechanical issues to resolve service challenges promptly
Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain high service quality across all operations
Manage customer enquiries, resolve complaints, and prepare detailed service reports to enhance satisfaction
Collaborate closely with operations, sales, and technical teams to align service delivery with business goals
Identify and implement improvements in service processes to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction
Oversee spare parts inventory management and maintain accurate service documentation for operational transparency
Required competencies and certifications
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in equipment servicing or maintenance
Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a service team
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and internal teams
Solid understanding of mechanical systems relevant to industrial equipment
Customer-focused approach with capability to manage field operations safely and efficiently
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Knowledge of Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) compliance practices
Experience in service reporting, planning, and scheduling within industrial equipment maintenance
