We have an Immediate Opening Tooling Engineer – Subject Matter Expert with our reputed Client.

Client Location Cyberjaya, Malaysia.

Experience: 5+ years

We are looking for a Tooling Development Engineer to work with a client to develop, install and support a bespoke monitoring solution. You will become the subject matter expert, who will support the team within Malaysia. This position provides you with autonomy, flexibility, and of course enough challenges to learn and develop your professional as well your personal skills.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and install an internal tooling platform based on project specifications and client requirements.
• Work with client, support, development, and application teams to deliver monitoring, automated workflow solutions, and implement new methodologies
• Support continuous improvement, investigate alternatives and technologies, and present for review
• Facilitate the rollout of tooling application throughout all levels of the pipeline
• Advise functional and admin teams on design, development, and overall best practices
• Owning the creation of technology frameworks and providing technical leadership in internal and customer initiatives with a focus on the design of application monitoring services across many technologies
• Diagnose, reproduce and resolve/confirm fixes for complex, critical customer problems for monitored applications
• Engage in critical operations tasks on customer deployments to ensure business continuity
• Improve the business around Atos Monitoring service.
• Obtain and maintain an in-depth understanding of Atos Monitoring services’ technology, architecture, and implementation; help transfer knowhow to level 1 and 2 support groups
• Create and maintain monitoring technical service documentation for new services / applications

Job Requirement:

Preferred skills:

• Coding experience and ability to script
• Experience of Monitoring Tools
• Linux admin experience
• Understanding and passion for open-source technology and knowledge and proficient in at least one programming language.
• Previous experience as a Support or Software Engineer, Developer, TA.
• Good team working and interpersonal skills
• Good analytical skills
• Self-organized – ability to work without supervision

Nice to have skills:

· Practical knowledge or experience of (if not a proven ability to learn):

o PRE: Elasticsearch / Beats agents /Logstash experience in Enterprise Environments.

o Grafana

o NCPA agents

o Keycloak

o Kibana

o Node-Red and Docker for High Availability and security

o ServiceNow

o Dynatrace
