We are seeking a talented Manufacturing Engineer to support manufacturing and engineering development activities in the precision assembly of high-density microfluidic platforms and advanced fluid-routing architectures.
This position requires the candidate to have sufficient knowledge of the Manufacturing and QC operations, the ability to assess manufacturing’s need, initiate actions independently, identify cost savings opportunity, applying engineering mentality for process improvement and quality improvements techniques.
Duties Include:
· IDENTIFY AND INITIATE IMPROVEMENTS; Initiate and execute improvements in manufacturing workflow, procedure and quality control (to achieve lower cost, shorter cycle time, better yield, better workforce skills, higher output, good quality and compliance to quality system, safety & health requirements)
· NEW PRODUCT, PROCESS AND EQUIPMENT; support department responsible for implementation and track progress. Identify manufacturing needs and readiness, initiate necessary actions. Track, escalate issue and communicate progress.
· COMPLIANCE TO QUALITY SYSTEM; Ensure manufacturing compliance to quality systems
o Identification of process discrepancies and specification deviations.
o Support manufacturing readiness for implementation of quality system.
o Support SOP, WI and workorders update per GMP and GDP requirement.
· MANUFACTURING PERFORMANCE, REPORT TOOLS AND CAPABILITY
o Maintain and improve reports necessary to measure Manufacturing and QC performance.
o Well verse in ERP systems (Visual Manufacturing, D365, SAP). Work with planning, manufacturing, QC to make use of data available from ERP for analysis of operation performance.
o Support planner in product costing and BOM set-up.
o Track key performance index (start, pack, WIP, cycle-time, yield, cost etc)
o Model and define equipment capacities, identify operation bottle necks and maintain capacity table.
o Work with manufacturing supervisor and manager responsible for identifying and implementing manufacturing strategies.
o Support purchasing of IFC Raw Materials, working with Purchasing and Process Team to ensure supplies and quality control.
· MANUFACTURING JOB TRAINING; Support training and documentation system defined by manager and HR. Assist engineers and manufacturing in conducting job training.
· OTHERS; Perform any other duties as assigned by the manager in support of business and operational needs
Qualifications Include:
Essential:
· Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Electronics Engineering, or related discipline with 0–3 years of relevant experience or Diploma in Engineering or related technical field with a minimum of 5 years of relevant manufacturing experience.
· Good knowledge of the manufacturing operations, the ability to assess manufacturing’s need, initiate actions independently and applying engineering and quality improvements techniques.
Pay: $3,800.00 - $4,200.00 per month
