Operations Research Analyst

We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic thinker to join our team. In this role, you will stand at the intersection of engineering, data science, and national security. You will tackle some of the most complex challenges in defence by building mathematical and simulation models, analysing vast datasets, and providing the empirical evidence stakeholders need to make critical, high-stakes decisions.

In This Role, You Will

• Conduct operations research studies focused on vital defence and national security initiatives, ensuring mission readiness and strategic advantage.
• Build, test, and deploy sophisticated mathematical and simulation models (e.g., Monte Carlo, discrete-event simulation) to analyse complex operational problems.
• Act as the bridge between technical data and strategic action—synthesising complex findings into clear, actionable briefings for senior leadership and key stakeholders.
  
  

Job Requirements

• Master / Bachelor's Degree in Operations Research/Analysis / Systems Engineering / Applied Mathematics / Data Science and Analytics
• Ability to build mathematical or simulation models using tools like Python, R, MATLAB, or specialized simulation software.
• Strong understanding of systems engineering principles, mathematical and simulation modeling.
• Good communication skills, capable of presenting complex technical concepts to non-technical executive audiences.
