Job Description
Responsibilities
Supervise daily kitchen operations to ensure food preparation, production, and presentation consistently meet high quality standards.
Ensure all kitchen staff follow established procedures, policies, and food safety standards.
Monitor the proper operation, use, and maintenance of kitchen equipment, and report any malfunction or maintenance issues promptly.
Monitor and control food and operational costs where necessary.
Ensure high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety are maintained at all times.
Supervise and provide guidance to kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Collect daily feedback from staff and customers where applicable, and report operational issues to management.
Assist in resolving daily kitchen and operational issues.
Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by management.
Demonstrate a strong passion for culinary work and commitment to quality.
Strive for excellence in food quality, preparation, and presentation.
Possess excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills.
Able to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
