Full Time Marketing Lead Jobs, in The Smart Local (TSL) Media Group - Maukerja

We are looking for a Marketing Lead to take ownership of the growth, strategy and commercial development.

You will be responsible for growing our network and audience while identifying opportunities to strengthen its commercial potential. Working across content, marketing and commercial teams, you will turn audience insights and performance data into strategies that drive sustainable growth.

This role is suited to an entrepreneurial and commercially minded self-starter who enjoys building new opportunities, testing ideas and taking ownership of outcomes.

What you will do:

Business & Audience Growth

• Own the growth strategy for our network, including subscribers, reach and engagement.
• Identify new opportunities to grow the network, audience and commercial value.
• Explore new formats, partnerships and initiatives to expand the business.

Performance & Commercial Strategy

• Monitor performance and translate data into actionable growth strategies.
• Own revenue performance, pricing and commercial opportunities.
• Identify new monetisation opportunities and work with the commercial team to develop them.
• Prepare regular performance and business reports.

Content & Client Strategy

• Guide content and community strategies to strengthen audience engagement.
• Oversee campaign briefs and ensure content and execution align with client objectives.
• Maintain strong client relationships and identify opportunities for deeper partnerships.

Team Leadership

• Lead, coach and develop the team.
• Set KPIs, delegate responsibilities and drive accountability.
• Build efficient processes that enable the function to scale.

A successful candidate should have:

• At least 6 years of experience in digital marketing, content, audience growth, business development or a related field.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field.
• Candidates with proven experience growing and managing a network of channels and communities will be prioritised.
• Strong commercial, analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Experience leading teams and driving measurable business outcomes.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and bias towards action - comfortable identifying opportunities, testing ideas and building initiatives from the ground up.
• Comfortable operating independently, making decisions and taking ownership in a fast-paced environment.
• Curious and adaptable, with a strong interest in digital platforms, emerging trends and audience behaviour.
