The Business Development and Partnerships teams at Shopee are dynamic and energetic. The teams are always looking to acquire business opportunities to drive Shopee to be the No. 1 e-commerce platform in Southeast Asia and Taiwan. The aim of the Business Development and Partnership teams is to provide Shopee’s buyers with a wide variety of product listings at the best prices.
Job Description:
- Accountable for the overall performance of a business segment in Shopee
- Developing growth strategies, involving planning, negotiation, and execution of initiatives in collaboration with key stakeholders
- Collaborating with internal teams to define, enhance, and scale solutions
- Providing leadership and guidance to the team for efficient execution of daily tasks and skill development for advancement
- Continuously maintain a strong relationship with brands/sellers
- Work closely with the marketing team to drive usage and awareness for brands/sellers
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's Degree in any field, with work experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, business development, and e-commerce is a plus
- Experienced in a management role - passionate about coaching, mentoring and team management
- Highly analytical and able to generate meaningful and actionable analysis; Strong logical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets
- Possess strong business acumen and commercial savviness
