Job Description

Responsibilities

We are building a regional team at the forefront of Asia’s rapidly expanding data center ecosystem—where hyperscale demand, AI workloads, and next-generation digital infrastructure converge. At the center of this transformation sits the Solution Architect, a highly influential technical leader who doesn’t just respond to opportunities—but actively shapes them.

This is not a back-office design role. This is a frontline, customer-facing, deal-shaping, technology-influencing position where your ideas directly impact what gets designed, approved, and built across the region.

Role Purpose

The Solution Architect is the trusted technical authority for customers, partners, and internal sales teams. You will be the go-to expert who translates complex infrastructure requirements into compelling, executable solutions across data center environments.

You will lead technical engagements from early discovery through opportunity shaping, ensuring that our solutions are not only viable—but strategically differentiated and commercially compelling.

Your influence will extend beyond design—you will actively create technological mindshare in the market.

What You Will Do

1. Opportunity Shaping & Deal Influence

  • Engage early in customer conversations to identify technical needs, gaps, and strategic direction
  • Shape opportunities from “concept stage” into well-defined, winnable solutions
  • Influence solution direction by aligning customer challenges with scalable data center architectures
  • Partner with sales leadership to position differentiated value propositions

2. Solution Architecture & Technical Leadership

  • Design end-to-end data center infrastructure solutions across power, cooling, IT infrastructure, and integrated systems
  • Understand and articulate how modern data centers are designed, built, commissioned, and operated
  • Translate customer requirements into robust, scalable, and cost-efficient technical architectures
  • Evaluate trade-offs across performance, cost, resilience, sustainability, and deployment speed

3. Technology Thought Leadership

  • Act as the regional technical evangelist for data center solutions
  • Drive conversations on emerging trends such as AI-ready infrastructure, modular data centers, liquid cooling, and edge deployments
  • Build credibility with customers through deep technical insight and practical design thinking
  • Create technical narratives that influence customer decision-making before formal RFP stages

4. Customer & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Serve as the primary technical interface for strategic customers, consultants, and partners
  • Lead technical workshops, design sessions, and architecture reviews
  • Build long-term trust as the most credible technical advisor in the room
  • Bridge gaps between customer vision and engineering reality

5. Internal Enablement & Collaboration

  • Work closely with product, engineering, and delivery teams to ensure solution feasibility and alignment
  • Enable sales teams with technical positioning, objection handling, and solution storytelling
  • Contribute to playbooks, reference architectures, and best practices across the region

What You Bring

We are looking for someone who is both deeply technical and commercially aware—a rare combination of engineer, strategist, and influencer.

Technical Expertise

  • Strong understanding of data center design principles (Tier standards, redundancy, uptime models)
  • Experience across infrastructure domains: power systems, cooling/HVAC, IT racks, network architecture, and facility integration
  • Familiarity with hyperscale, colocation, or enterprise data center environments
  • Exposure to end-to-end lifecycle: design → build → commissioning → operation

Strategic & Customer Skills

  • Proven ability to shape technical opportunities, not just respond to them
  • Comfortable engaging senior stakeholders (CTO, CIO, infrastructure directors)
  • Strong consultative mindset with ability to simplify complex architectures

Mindset & Behaviors

  • Naturally curious and passionate about infrastructure innovation
  • Strong bias toward influence, not just execution
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguous, fast-moving deal environments
  • A belief that great architecture wins deals before proposals are written
