Ansell is looking for Project Engineer to be based in Ayer Keroh, Melaka.

This position is Responsible to design equipment and systems for facilitation of engineering solution to production requirement. To plan and supervise the construction installation and commissioning equipment. To ensure all engineering work is carried out safely, efficiently as per safe work practices. To revisit all completed projects to ensure that the objectives of the projects are met and continually perform as per its design function.

What Will Your Role Be?

  • Responsible for all Engineering aspect of assigned projects.
  • Supervision of contractors during construction, installation and commissioning of equipment.
  • Keep abreast of current technology relevant to Ansell processes by means of technical literature, training and contact with equipment suppliers.
  • Ensure work is carried out safely and efficiently at all times.
  • Keep Department Head informed of status of current work of the project group, with specific reference to costs and schedules.
  • Ensure the drawing system is kept up to date.
  • To understand and follow the Company’s Quality Policy, Occupational Safety & Health Policy and Environmental Policy.
  • To be aware, committed and responsible to understand the importance of protecting the environment by ensuring all activities and practices towards prevention of pollution and in compliance to legal requirements.
  • To understand the implications of improper job performance and the need for quality work at all times.
  • To understand and know the Company’s GMP, Hygiene rules and other do’s & don’ts.
  • To obey the company rules and regulations, disciplinary procedures and any general instructions issued by the management from time to time.
  • To maintain a high standard of housekeeping.
  • To perform any other job as assigned by the superior or management.


What Will You Bring?

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronics / Instrumentation Engineering or its equivalent.
  • Experience in high-volume manufacturing environment or as systems integrator.
  • Works independently as well as within a team, with guidance in only the most complex situations.
  • Strong leadership qualities, self-motivated and able to lead a team of operators in meeting daily target.
  • Mature and analytical with strong leadership qualities and people management and interactive skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organization skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to work independently and as a team with good safety and interpersonal skills.
