Job Description
Responsibilities
Machine Setup & Operation
Set up production machines according to production schedules and work instructions.
Perform tooling changes, machine adjustments, and parameter settings.
Ensure machines are operating efficiently and producing products according to specifications.
Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and productivity.
Conduct trial runs and first-piece inspections before production commencement.
Troubleshooting & Maintenance
Diagnose and resolve machine malfunctions, breakdowns, and process issues.
Perform routine preventive maintenance and basic repairs.
Escalate major equipment issues to the Maintenance Department when required.
Maintain machine cleanliness and ensure good housekeeping practices.
Quality Control
Conduct in-process inspections and verify product quality against specifications.
Utilize measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection tools.
Identify and report non-conforming products and process deviations.
Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
Production Support
Ensure production targets and delivery schedules are met.
Minimize machine downtime and material wastage.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency.
Assist in new product setup and process validation activities.
Safety & Compliance
Adhere to workplace safety procedures and company regulations.
Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Follow quality management system requirements and standard operating procedures.
Participate in safety and quality audits when required.
